Safety Training Grounded in Ministry
You want a safe and secure place for people to worship. We want that for you. Worship Safe will provide the training and guidance your House of Worship needs to create a safe environment.
Keeping your House of Worship safe and secure is part of a bigger mission for the Church and our training reflects that belief. For over a decade, we've provided training and guidance to church safety and church security programs to small congregations up to multi-campus mega-churches.
What We Do
Church Safety Training
Worship Safe can train your staff and volunteers in a wide range of topics from verbal de-escalation to emergency procedures to situational awareness and body language.
Medical Response
Medical issues are some of the most common emergencies encountered in churches. We prepare your volunteers and staff to help those in need. CPR/First Aid/AED and Stop the Bleed training are available.
Physical Security
Our Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) practitioners can perform physical security assessments on existing buildings or CPTED reviews of planned buildings or before renovations. We use ministry experience in our recommendations.

The Better Protectors Difference
There are a lot of training providers that offer training labeled as church safety training. But when you look at their qualifications and experience, you don't see the Church. Instead, you see a tactical or security course with the word church added to it. That is not what you get with Better Protectors. We have over a decade of serving the Church in the safety ministry.
We bring the experience of having worked in full-time ministry, being on missions trips, conducting outreach programs and leading small groups. And we have worked with dozens of churches just like yours to help them start or improve their safety teams. Our approach to church safety keeps the ministry of the Church in mind. We adapt our training to fit the culture of your church, not force your culture to adapt to our training. Talk to us and find out what makes Better Protectors different.

Costs will vary depending on the length of training and location. We do offer discounted rates for the training to churches and non-profits. Contact us with your needs.
We do perform proficiency verifications. Having a third-party perform these can be helpful in the event of a use of force. All range activities are under the oversight of a certified Range Safety Officer. In early 2023, we are adding a scenario based simulator to our training options.
Absolutely. Many topics, like Stop the Bleed, Situational Awareness, CPR or Active Shooter response are well suited to non-safety team audiences.
We are not. We stand ready to help any House of Worship provide a safe and secure environment for those who attend there. Anyone should be able to worship without fear.
Yes. We can do Zoom meetings or calls with your leaders. These could be for on-going training or to discuss new situations that have arisen. We can also consult with staff, elders or board members with questions.
